If you are interested in your child joining the team, please contact our Membership Secretary (moldswimmingclub@gmail.com) who will invite your child to a trial swim session.

What happens at a trial session?

During your child’s trial swimming session, one of our coaches will observe an assess your child’s ability in all four strokes (free, breast, back, fly) alongside their stamina when given a swim set.

If the trial is successful you will be provided with session timetable suitable to their skill level.

Occasionaly, the coach may determine that your swimmer requires further development before entering swim club; the coach will discuss this with you at the end of the trial and suggest next steps. We have fantastic links to Aura’s swim programme

Membership is paid via a monthly standing order in our fantastic Swim Manager software.

In addition to month membership costs there is annual cost for Swim Wales affiliation which covers assurance and is mandatory for entry to Gala’s

Level: Skills

Price: £40 pm

Our entry level group; a fantastic place to continue to develop stroke technique and start to develop some endurance.

Typically swimmers will swim from 2-4 hours a week in this group

Level: Development

Price: £45 pm

The bridge from Skills to Performance. A time when endurance and strength starts to compliment continued skills development. This is also the time where you may to start to enter more Gala’s and develop ‘Level 2;’ entry times.

Swimmers typically swim 3-7 hours a week in this group

Level: Performance

Price: £50

Our top group where it starts to get a bit more serious. Longer sessions to build speed and endurance whilst still keeping an eye on technique. Swimmers here have a chance to compete at National Level, if they wish.

Swimmers typically swim between 8-11 hours a week including mornings at 6am.

Level: Fitness

Price: £30

A newly formed group to support those swimmers over 14 who want to carry on swimming but maybe not quite as seriously.

Hours are limited to 3 sessions a week (3-5hours)
